In this is love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us and sent His Son to be the propitiation for our sins.—1Jn 4:10 Years ago, I was the president of a youth ministry and I used to preach to the youths, “You’ve got to love God! You’ve got to love the Lord with all your heart, all your mind and all your soul!” Yet I was wondering to myself, “How in the world do I do that?” I didn’t know then that I was actually placing my youths under the law because the sum total of the law is to love God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind and all your strength. (Deut 6:5) You see, my friend, no one has been able to love the Lord with all his heart, soul and mind. But our Lord and Savior Jesus went to the cross to die for us. With arms outstretched, He loved us with all His heart, all His mind, all His soul and all His strength. Under the law, it is all about our love for Him. But under grace, it is all about His love for us. We love because He first loved us! Rest easy in His love for you today! http://josephprince.com/
