ARE YOU FEARFUL BECAUSE OF THE THINGS HAPPENING IN THE WORLD?
In Luke 21:26-28 the Bible says:
Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those see more things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.
We need to look inward and ask ourselves: Am I fearful? Yes? No? Sometimes? Really, everybody needs to say, “Sometimes I am.” because it's true. And if you're not, you're a liar and you need to pray for that. Is fear normal? Is it a good thing or a bad thing to be afraid? It's not normal, it's not a good thing. God doesn't want us to be afraid, but we become fearful because we live in the natural realm and we judge so many things by that natural realm. But God wants us to live and walk in the supernatural realm with Him. He wants us to live in that unconditional love at all times. Now let's take a look at another Scripture. 1 John 4:16-19 says:
And we have known and believed the love that God has to us. God is love; and he that dwells in love dwells in God, and God in him. Herein is love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment because as he is so are we in this world.
How do you “DWELL IN LOVE?” You dwell in love by understanding what happened to you when you accepted Jesus. You received by faith His punishment and death as your punishment and death for all of your sins, faults and mistakes. It also doesn’t end in that. When Jesus was raised from the dead, God considered you raised as a new creation. A new creation put into God’s unconditional love. I also want to point out that the Day of Judgment does not only mean end-times judgement but whatever judgement you seem to be going through can be a Day of Judgment. As He is so are we in this world. This is a big thing to swallow, isn't it? It means that if you're in Christ, God sees you with all your faults and all your mistakes on the cross and NOT ON YOU. He now sees and knows you in UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! Are you still fearful of the things going on in the world even though you are a Christian? GOD SEES YOU THROUGH GOD'S GLASSES! This is how God sees you. God wears glasses. He looks at you and He sees all your faults and all your mistakes nailed to the cross. The day Jesus died on the cross, the Father, Son and Holy Spirit put the glasses on and They said, “When we look at mankind, we're going see more to look at mankind through the cross and through the blood of Jesus.” God is never going to take the glasses off because if He takes them off, He's denying what happened at the cross; and as far as He is concerned, it is impossible for Him to see any other way. He always sees you through the blood and through the cross of Jesus, which washes all of our sins -- your faults and your mistakes – away; past, present and future.
God wants you to put these glasses on and look at yourself through the eyes of the cross and through the blood of Jesus. What do you see? Do you see your faults and mistakes? No. It says: “Just as He is, so are we in this world.” How can we say that? “Oh God, I have all these faults and all these mistakes. I'm imperfect, I'm this, I'm that,” and He says: “No, you're dead and your life is hid in Me. It's no longer you that lives, but Christ that lives in you. And the life you now live in this flesh you live by the faith of the Son of God, who loves you and gave His life for you.” (Galatians 2:20 paraphrased). If we see ourselves that way, there will be nothing that separates us from the unconditional love of God. What separates us from that unconditional love of God is when we look at ourselves and we see our faults, mistakes, and imperfections and we see ourselves after the Natural Man, after the flesh; and we think, “God, how can you love me? I'm not totally lovable. You can't accept me. Don't you grade on a curve?” Well, God's curve is the cross. There, Jesus took all your faults and all your mistakes and you were judged guilty there at the cross. The punishment was death. You didn't have to suffer the punishment because Jesus suffered it. God took on flesh, sent His son in flesh and paid the price forever for all of mankind. No man, woman, or any human being will ever stand before God in their own faults, in their own mistakes because they were judged at Calvary. They will stand there and they will either be judged or freed by what they did with Jesus and what they did with the cross. Did you accept it? Did you let it go? Did you forget it? God looks at the heart and He knows where you are in your heart.

WHAT TO DO WHEN DEPRESSION SEDUCES AND ROMANCES YOU
WHAT IS DEPRESSION?
The condition of feeling sad, despondent or dejected. A psychiatric see more disorder characterized by an inability to concentrate, insomnia, loss of appetite, feelings of extreme sadness, guilt, helplessness and hopelessness, and thoughts of death.
HOW DOES IT COME IN?
The enemy! He will not come as a roaring lion but more like an invisible toxic atmosphere that will seduce and romance you.
What’s ROMANCE: A passionate emotional attachment or involvement, a wild exaggeration or picturesque falsehood, a mental fantasy.
What is SEDUCE: To entice or beguile into a desired state or position. To win over; attract.
HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH DEPRESSION? MAKE A CHOICE? FAITH OR FEELINGS!
Spend time in God’s love, meditating on it. Take time listening. Ask God questions, and expect answers.
Make an effort to serve him with your mind by. Rom. 7:25
SENSE & REASON will distort the real truth. The natural mind is in bondage to fear!
Are you more flesh conscious or more Christ conscious?
Come boldly to God’s throne of GRACE for help & mercy. - Heb. 4:16
Try starting with little steps of thanksgiving as you begin to look to grace - Ps. 100:4
Try praying in the Spirit, it will build you up – Jude 1:20
Resist anything contrary to God’s unconditional love and acceptance.

To receive the unconditional love of God is to receive God Himself on the inside of you, through His Word. 1 John 4:8 says that God is love. God is love. That is what He is made of and that’s what He wanted for see more mankind from the very beginning. But the enemy persuaded man to look at himself in the natural realm and judge himself as well as everything else in the natural realm. Man was never created for that. We were created to live on this earth and to walk by faith, in the spirit with God and as His child.
1 John 4:18 says, "There is no fear in perfect love." It also says that fear has torment. When we walk in fear we walk in darkness. We can’t see what is going on to the left. We can’t see what is going on to the right. We can’t see what’s in front of us.
What you think about and focus on will reproduce itself on the inside of you. Therefore, your thought life can either be food or poison to you. Think about it. Seeds have been planted when you hear or see things and the imagination takes over. If you think about and focus on the unconditional love of God it will be reproduced on the inside of you. Jesus said if your eye is full of darkness, your whole body would be full of darkness. But if you eye is full of light your whole body will be full of light. How great the light will be or how great the darkness will be is determined by what you focus on inside—what you see [Matthew 6:22-23 paraphrased]. What does God want you to see? He wants you to see His unconditional love—that it truly is unconditional. What condition did you have to meet? All you had to do is believe that you were judged at the cross and all your punishment was nailed there and that Jesus took it for you.

HOW OFTEN DO WE JUDGE OURSELVES FOR OUR MISTAKES AND SHORTCOMINGS? Can we have healthy judgment toward ourselves? ____ Yes? ____ No?
FOR THE CHRISTIAN: ARE YOU LIVING BY FAITH IN WHO YOU ARE “IN CHRIST?” DO YOU TRUST HIS GRACE AND LOVE? WALKING AFTER THE SPIRIT IS WALKING BY FAITH ON GOD’S WORD - 2 Cor. 13:5: (NIV) Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you--unless, of course, you fail the test? Paul the Apostle made a statement about self judgment! - 1 Cor. 4:3: (NIV) “I care very little if I am judged by you or by any human court; indeed, I do not even judge myself.”
WHAT’S UNHEALTHY ABOUT SELF-JUDGMENT AND WHY IS IT UNHEALTHY? Man has the ability to judge because we are created in the image of God. Gen. 1:26 In Matt. 21:18-21 Jesus showed us an example of the power of words of judgment can do. Our beliefs and words can kill us if we allow them to.
SELF JUDGMENT WILL TRIGGER NEGATIVE EMOTIONS. Most negative emotions come from our awareness of our NATURAL limits. Then our loss of control results in self-judgment which then produces anger, fear, frustration, grief, depression, bitterness, regrets and those will activate death in us. And death is decay in motion. Negative emotions will hurt us physically. They will hurt our relationships with people. Negative emotions will make us run away from God and will give us a distorted picture of ourselves, our life, our relationships and a distortion of God.
JOB, AN OLD TESTAMENT BIBLE EXAMPLE OF WHAT CONDEMNATION, FRUSTRATION, ANGER AND DEPRESSION CAN DO Job had a CONDEMNATION PROBLEM about his children not serving God – Job 1:5 - So it was, when the days of feasting had run their course, that Job would send and sanctify them, (his children), and he would rise early in the morning and offer burnt offerings [according to] the number of them all. For Job said, “It may be that my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” Thus Job did regularly.
CONDEMNATION PUT JOB INTO THE HANDS OF SATAN Job 2:6 - And the LORD said to Satan, "Behold, he [is] in your hand, but spare his life."
JOB’S CONDEMNATION LEAD TO JOB’S FEARS. FEAR IS FAITH WITH NEGATIVE RESULTS IF YOU LET IT. Job’s children died, Job’s fears became reality. - Job 3:25-26 “For the thing I greatly feared has come upon me, And what I dreaded has happened to me. I am not at ease, nor am I quiet; I have no rest, for trouble comes.”
JOB DID NOT UNDERSTAND SPIRITUAL THINGS. HE THOUGHT HIS TROUBLE WAS FROM GOD. MOST CHRISTIANS HAVE THAT SAME MINDSET! Job 2:10 - “Shall we indeed accept good from God, and shall we not accept adversity?"
GOD HAS A PLAN AND A PURPOSE FOR EACH OF US AND IT IS USUALLY FEAR AND LOOKING AT OUR OWN STRENGTHS AND ABILITIES THAT KEEP US FROM FULFILLING THAT PLAN! TOO MANY CHRISTIANS RELY ON THEIR OWN ABILITY TO FULFILL GOD’S PLAN FOR THEIR LIFE.
WHAT MAKES A CHRISTIAN SUCCESSFUL IN FULFILLING GOD’S PLAN FOR HIS LIFE? We and the Lord are one. He is in us to will and do His good pleasure. Because as He is, so are we in this world. - 1 John 4:17 But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. - 1 Cor. 6:17 Then he, (Saul), fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?” - Acts 9:4. Who is the “ME?”
WHAT DOES THE WORD SAY ABOUT US? Rom. 8:35-39 - Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? [Shall] tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written: For Your sake we are killed all day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. 2 Cor. 2:14 - Now thanks [be] to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

ONE OF THE NEGATIVE EMOTIONS MOST USED AGAINST US? ANGER! Eph. 4:26, 27 - "Be angry, and do not sin"do not let the sun go down on your wrath, nor give place to the devil.
VENTING ANGER MAY BE MORE HARMFUL THAN GOOD! Suppression: Letting go is more healthy than venting. Venting makes you focus too much on the source of anger.
DO YOU GET EMOTIONALLY UPSET AND ANGRY AT GOD OR YOURSELF WHEN THING DON’T GO YOUR WAY? DO YOU BEGIN TO BLAME? If you do, something is blinding you. What? – Rom. 7:5 - For when we were in the flesh, the sinful passions which were aroused by the law were at work in our members to bear fruit to death.
GUILT AND ANGER WORK TOGETHER. ARE YOU JUDGING YOURSELF OR THOSE CLOSE TO YOU WHEN BAD THINGS HAPPEN? The law holds us in guilt – Rom. 7:6 - But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not [in] the oldness of the letter. The guilt will produce anger. If we allow guilt to have its course it will cause bigger problems that will be even more difficult to get out of. Guilt is judgment from being under law and not under faith & grace
WE NEED TO SHUT THE DOOR ON THE PROBLEM AND GIVE THEM TO GOD TO HAVE A FUTURE WITH PEACE. 2 Kings 4:16-21 - Why did she shut the door?

WHAT TRIGGERS NEGATIVE EMOTIONS? see more Most negative emotions come from our awareness of our natural limits. Our loss of control triggers negative emotions, ie. fear, anger, frustration, grief The emotions, whether good or evil, were regarded as a consequent upon external influences exerted on the mind. Negative emotions are aroused when we live under a legalistic way of life. We are always guilty and condemned by not meeting the standard. Religious Legalism: Rom.7:5 (Common English Bible) - When we were self-centered, the sinful passions, (negative emotions), aroused through the Law were at work in all parts of our body, so that we bore fruit for death.
MOST PEOPLE CAN’T CONTROL THEIR NEGATIVE EMOTIONS; THEIR NEGATIVE EMOTIONS CONTROL THEM. - Depression, condemnation, bitterness, fear, these negative emotions can cause us to do and say things that we may regret.
CAN YOUR NEGATIVE EMOTIONS BLOCK YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH PEOPLE? ____Yes ____ No? YOUR RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD? _____Yes _____ No?
CAN NEGATIVE EMOTIONS HURT YOU PHYSICALLY? _____Yes _____ No? Luke 21:25-26 - And there will be signs in the sun, in the moon, and in the stars; and on the earth distress of nations, with perplexity, the sea and the waves roaring; men's hearts failing them from fear and the EXPECTATION OF those things which are coming on the earth, for the powers of the heavens will be shaken. What is EXPECTATION OF? How does that expectation of work?
CAN POSITIVE EMOTIONS HEAL YOU? _____Yes _____No? Prov. 17:22 - A merry heart does good, [like] medicine, but a broken spirit dries the bones. How do we get a merry heart?
HAVING EMOTIONS, POSITIVE OR NEGATIVE IS A NORMAL THING, WE JUST NEED TO CONTROL THEM! - God has them, and we’re created in his image. John 11:35 - Jesus wept
HOW DO WE TAKE CHARGE OF OUR NEGATIVE EMOTIONS? PAY ATTENTION, RECOGNIZE THEM, DON’T IGNORE THEM Be proactive instead of reactive to them, on the assault instead of on the defense. THINK DIFFERENT - Col. 3:10 The laws of God’s kingdom work different MAGNIFY THE GRACE & FAVOR OF GOD, IN YOUR MIND & HEART Learn it if you don’t know it. Seeing God’s countenance shows his favor, PS. 44:3 How do you see his countenance? WE DON’T WAR AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD - Eph. 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual [hosts] of wickedness in the heavenly [places].
WHY DOES GOD ALLOW BAD/EVIL THINGS? Hosea 4:6 - My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge. John 8:32 - "And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." Luke 10:19 - I have given you authority to trample on snakes and scorpions and to overcome all the power of the enemy; nothing will harm you.
FEAR OR FAITH WHICH IS THE VICTORY? - 1 John 5:4 - For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world--our faith.
PERFECT LOVE CASTS OUT FEAR, SO GOD, (WHO IS PERFECT LOVE), WANTS YOU EQUIPPED WHEN YOU FACE DANGER 1 John 4:18 (NKJV) - There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love. Perfect love has given us a WEAPON OF PROTECTION in a time of trouble or danger: THE NAME OF JESUS
WHAT IS SO SPECIAL ABOUT THE NAME OF JESUS? Phil. 2:10 - that at the name of Jesus EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth
WHAT DOES THE NAME OF JESUS MEAN? Matthew 1:21 (NIV) - “She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” Jesus is the Greek form of Joshua, which means, the Lord saves, (or, God is our salvation.)
DOES THAT NAME HAVE POWER? Acts 3:1-16 - What made this man whole/strong? John 20:31 (NKJV) - but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name.
HAVE WE BEEN GIVEN THAT NAME TO USE? Mark 16:17-18 - "And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; "they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover." John 14:13-14 - "And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do [it].”
WE HAVE LEGAL RIGHT TO USE THE NAME OF JESUS BECAUSE WE ARE ONE SPIRIT WITH THE LORD - 1 Cor. 6:17 - But he who is joined to the Lord is one spirit
WILL WE BE CHALLENGED WHEN WE USE THAT NAME? _____no? ______yes? _______maybe? Acts 19:15 - And the evil spirit answered and said, "Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are you?"

(1 Peter 5: 8) Make an effort to serve him with your mind by. (Rom. 7:25) SENSE & REASON will distort the real truth. The natural mind is in bondage to fear. (Rom. 8:6 ). Are you flesh conscious or Christ conscious? Come boldly to God’s throne of GRACE for help & mercy. (Heb. 4:16) Try starting with little steps of thanksgiving as you begin to look to grace. (Ps. 100:4) Praying in the Spirit will build you up. (Jude 1:20) Resist anything contrary to God’s unconditional love and acceptance.

THE CROSS IS THE DOOR TO THE KINGDOM OF GOD, WHERE ARE YOU WALKING AND LIVING? WHAT’S THE PROBLEM? We are walking and living on the wrong side of the cross! Because that is where our understanding is and we HAVE NOT PUT ON THE NEWMAN in our thinking and understanding! In Luke 8:22-25 We see the disciples of Jesus watching a storm flood their boat. They thought that they were going to drown. They woke Jesus up and Jesus stopped the storm. His disciples then asked each other. “ WHAT MANNER OF MAN IS THIS?” What did the disciples see and think about this situation? What did Jesus ask them? “WHERE IS YOUR FAITH?”
WHOA, WHAT’S THAT PROBLEM? We are walking and living on the wrong side of the cross in our thinking, our understanding and in our vision of Christianity!
WHY DO WE THINK AND SEE THAT WAY? Rom. 8:5-7 - For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on the things of the flesh, but those [who live] according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit. For to be carnally, (sense ruled), minded [is] death, but to be spiritually minded [is] life and peace. Because the carnal mind, (sense ruled), [is] enmity against God; for it is not subject to the law of God, nor indeed can be. SATAN wants to keep you in the flesh. – 2 Cor. 4:4, (THE GOD OF THIS WORLD HAS BLINDED…)
HOW TO LIVE ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE CROSS Take heed how you hear! Understand the Bible through the senses of GRACE! The just shall live by FAITH – Rom. 1:17, Prov. 4:18 Live in the GRACE-MAN – Col. 3:10, Walk in the NEWMAN which is renewed in knowledge after the image of Him that created him.
