Here's another snippet on my recent two posts on "The Power Of Unity"
Jesus Prayed For Our Protection Is this Passage of Scripture spoken by Jesus Christ still relevant in see more the 21st Century: Luke 6:26
NIV “Woe to you when all men speak well of you, for that is how their fathers treated the false prophets."
KJV “Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets."
ISV “How terrible it will be for you when everyone says nice things about you, because that's the way their ancestors used to treat the false prophets!"
John 17 Verses 14-16 – From these verses we understand that we are not of this world, but we are required to live and operate in it. We are not of this world because we live according to Him, who is not of this world.
We have been placed in the world not to seek an escape from it, but to make a difference by upholding the purest principles of our faith in the midst of life. We must also remember that the spirit of this world is contrary to the spirit that works in us.
Continuation from previous post on The Power of Unity:
Jesus Prayed For Oneness Among The Saints in John Chapter 17 Even though a large portion of this prayer was directed to Jesus’ Disciples, we must remember that we too are Disciples of Christ. see more
John 17:20 "My prayer is not for them alone. I pray also for those who will believe in Me through their message…” reveals the fact that Jesus had us in mind when He presented this prayer. He offered what appears to be a theme of oneness to the Father.
His obvious desire is for us to become one with the Father, just as He and the Father are one. Verse 21 further reveals the fact that the world will believe that Jesus is sent from the Father, when we, through the process of maturing, arrive at a state of oneness in Christ. Let us therefore submit ourselves to each other till His desire is accomplished in us.
I would like to share a series of nuggets of truth as it pertains to the Power of Unity as revealed by Jesus through His Prayer in John the 17th Chapter. see more
In John Chapter 17, Jesus expressed the fact that He had completed the work that the Father sent Him to do. Consequently, He was aware that His final moments on the earth were at hand. He therefore offered an intercessory prayer for those who must continue His work in the earth. In so doing, much of the mind of Christ in relation to this world and His Church is revealed to us. Let us take this opportunity to review some of the issues that were on Christ’s mind at this time.
#MyDesire Psalm 27:4-5 One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of The Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple. For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret see more place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock.
Have been looking at some news reports on ISIS and the stuff that is taking place in Iraq and different countries. Been watching a few reports including Leading The Way with Dr. Michael Youssef and while the situation if just so horribly wrong with the slaughter of some many Believers (Christians) I know that God will come through for many see more of them!
Let us not cease to lift up our voices in prayer for our brothers and sisters in those places. And know that the aim of ISIS is to breakthrough on our shores here in North America. You can visit his website here to watch a video on ISIS and what has been happening in Iraq and other places:
Let me just encourage you to LOVE on The Lord, He is so Worthy. While I know that many of you do, I still felt that I should encourage you to not stop.
Let us LOVE The Lord in word and in deed. In spirit and in truth. see more Through the "good times and bad". The the "rough and smooth".... He is God.
John 14:21, 23-24 "He who has My commandments and keeps them, it is he who loves Me. And he who loves Me will be loved by My Father, and I will love him and manifest Myself to him.” Jesus answered and said to him, “If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him. He who does not love Me does not keep My words; and the word which you hear is not Mine but the Father’s who sent Me."
Do you realize that when God created Adam He immediately gave them the ability to communicate with Him, God. There was no language as we have today. It was not until Genesis 11 that we have languages being established. see more
Fast forward to today: God wants His people to communicate with Him the same way Adam did in the Garden. As Born-Again Believers in Jesus Christ we all have the same language and the same unfettered access to God as Adam did back in Eden. We can communicate to God in His language just like Adam did in the Garden!
Learn to communicate with God, in His language. This is part of what the Born-Again experience gave us. He is listening... #thinkingoutloud
Do you realise that you could never solve the problem at the same level of thinking and lifestyle you were when it was created? There must always be a stepping forth into a new, higher realm so that the problem can be solved. And to step into the new, higher realm one must do so by FAITH... That's why most folk stay in the same cycle for see more most of their lives.
Hear me: CHANGE, and when I say change am referring to good, wise change is a MUST if we are to succeed in this life. If You do not want to change then do not expect any thing different but the same old stuff...
We ALL NEED TO CHANGE.... And we know that Jesus Christ, who is the very wisdom of God, The Father is accessible and available for us to change... #justsaying #justathought #Change
Jesus Christ is the legal covenantal Heir of "all things" in Heaven, in earth, and under the earth. We are joint-heirs of all that He is, all that He has, and all that He does. Paul declared to the church at Corinth, "...all things are yours" (1 Cor 3:21). Jesus Christ, our Heavenly Husband and Lord, has "given unto us see more all things that pertain unto life and godliness" (2 Pet 1:3)...
Here is what is said in Psalm 84:11 For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly.
I am telling you: The correct perspective changes everything! That's the TRUTH...
If you could see how God sees, everything will change! He sees Victory out of difficulty. He sees provision out of lack. He sees complete see more victory when defeat seems certain. And the list can go on and on. My point is-see as God sees and there will be NO STOPPING us... #forreal #Victory #donotlookbutSEE
While I know that we know this, felt it necessary to remind us of this fact: We only begin to live in a NEW DAY when we make the necessary change! If not we just took a rest and awoke to live the same day all see more over again.
And if you say that you have made ALL the changes you can or have be ordained to make, then my question is this: "why are you still here?"
So, pease understand that LIFE DEMANDS that we CHANGE!!! Go ahead and hit the like button and even leave a comment. #justsaying
