Proverbs 29:10 “The bloodthirsty hate a person of integrity and seek to kill the upright.”
Psalms 15: “Lord, who may abide in Your tabernacle? Who may dwell in Your holy hill? 2 He who walks uprightly, And works righteousness, And see more speaks the truth in his heart; 3 He who does not backbite with his tongue, Nor does evil to his neighbor, Nor does he take up a reproach against his friend; 4 In whose eyes a vile person is despised, But he honors those who fear the Lord; He who swears to his own hurt and does not change; 5 He who does not put out his money at usury, Nor does he take a bribe against the innocent. He who does these things shall never be moved.”
Proverbs 14:2 “He who walks in his uprightness fears the Lord, But he who is perverse in his ways despises Him.” #walkuprightly
Possessing An Excellent Spirit⎯Daniel 6:3 “Then this Daniel distinguished himself above the governors and satraps, because an excellent spirit was in him; and the king gave thought to setting him over the whole realm.” see more
1. Caused him to distinguish himself above the others. 2. Caused them not to find any charge against him, verse 4. 3. Caused him to be faithful, verse 4. 4. Caused no error or fault in his performance.
We need this principle of Excellence to operate both in our lives and that of our ministries. Excellence is not something we do only when things are going well and we are not under any form of pressure or persecution. NO! Excellence is something that we should make an operating principle of our life, regardless! #possessinganexcellentspirit#
is revisiting The Issue of Persecution (from his current book "Daniel: Apostle in Babylon")
Persecution comes from the Hebrew word radaph and carries the following shades of meaning: chase, put to flight, follow after, hunt, be under see more persecution, pursuer. From a primitive root; to run after (usually with hostile intent; figuratively (of time) gone by) -- chase, put to flight, follow (after, on), hunt, (be under) persecute(-ion, -or), pursue(-r).
Here in North America where we live, one may say we live in a society and at a time when we are not persecuted for our "Faith". We live in so called safety and as such we do not need a message on "persecution". However, I am seeing a different level or type of persecution rising in this hour. It is designed to attempt to force the Church/Believer to compromise on the tenets of the written Scripture.
However, I would like to encourage that our environment must not shape us, instead we must constantly be defined by the "Word of God". If we were to listen to the prevailing voice in our region and territory we would not preach strong lifestyle Christianity. No! Instead we would preach a Gospel of convenience, comfort, all-inclusive regardless of lifestyle, and the list can go on and on.
We need to fully understand this: PERSECUTION IS A POWERFUL DIMENSION OF THE CHRISTIAN FAITH!
is pondering the idea that so many get deceived by the presumption that confidence means correctness. Not realizing that someone could be confidently wrong!
So many times because someone may be more articulate in their position see more of belief many tend to assume that they must be correct. Well I have news for you that is not always the case. This is why it is so important that as a Believer in Jesus you must allow the Holy Spirit to lead and guide you.
For example here is what the Apostle Paul had to say and we know that he was correct; after all his writing has become a part of the Bible, the Inspired Word of Almighty God: 1 Corinthians 2:1-5
"And I, brethren, when I came to you, did not come with excellence of speech or of wisdom declaring to you the testimony of God. 2 For I determined not to know anything among you except Jesus Christ and Him crucified. 3 I was with you in weakness, in fear, and in much trembling. 4 And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human[b] wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 5 that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God." #AlwaysTrustTheHolySpirit#
Just a thought to ponder: One of the surest signs of maturity is ones ability to be responsible. Therefore at times when it seems as though God, The Father is not present; that is the time to know He is observing you to see how responsible we would conduct our lives. see more
Children play and act irresponsible when the parents are away, adults not so... So be responsible and do not fail your in your time of testing - Father is watching...
Happy Father's Day to all fathers out there... #beresponsible
As I retire for the night, I ponder this passage of Scripture: Proverbs 30:5-9 "Every word of God is pure; He is a shield to those who put their trust in Him. 6 Do not add to His words, Lest He rebuke you, and you be found a liar. 7 Two things I request of You (Deprive me not before see more I die): 8 Remove falsehood and lies far from me; Give me neither poverty nor riches—Feed me with the food allotted to me; 9 Lest I be full and deny You, And say, “Who is the Lord?” Or lest I be poor and steal, And profane the name of my God." #ponderingthescriptures
My son and I returning from the gym were discussing Nelson Mandela and the fact that he had to be incarcerated for 27 years before realizing his dream. And what must have gone through his mind as he waited and waited and waited. see more
Now after an incredible life he prepares for the "next"...
We took away from our conversation, regardless the pressure, opposition, wilderness (jail in Mandela's case) stay with what the Father has placed in your heart. Remembering that it is those times when all may seem lost, God is still at work and without a doubt He holds your future... #beencouraged
is musing on a quote that you may like to read also: "When you get what you want in your struggle for self and the world makes you king for a day, just go to the mirror and look at yourself and see what that man has to say. It isn't your father or mother or wife who's judgement upon you must pass, the feller see more who's verdict counts most in your life is the one staring back from the glass. You may be Jack Horner and chisel a plum and think your a wonderful guy, but the man in the glass says 'you're only a bum' if you can't look him straight in the eye. He's the feller that pleads 'forget all the rest' for he's with you right through to the end, and you've passed your most dangerous difficult test if the man in the glass is your friend. You may fool the world down the pathway of years and get pats on the back as you pass, but your only reward will be heartache and tears if you've cheated the man in the glass." - Dave Severn
is decreeing Isaiah 45:3 “And I will give you the treasures [storehouse] of darkness [from places you never thought or imagined it would come from], and the hidden riches [secret storehouse, hidden treasure] of secret places [like the coin in the fish's mouth that Jesus allowed Peter to retrieve to pay taxes], that you may know see more that I, the Lord, which call you by your name, am the God of Israel.”
Testimonies shall arise as Almighty God does this for several... #justsaying #GreatandMightyisourGod
is musing on the fact we had one of those Matt: 13:52 services - "52 Then He said to them, “Therefore every scribe instructed concerning the kingdom of heaven is like a householder who brings out of his treasure things new and old.” see more

When Isaac sowed in a time of famine, he began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous...
Guess he must have continued sowing as he saw the incredible return to his seed... see more
Some folk will settle for "began to prosper" and begin to flaunt it, but not the "Isaac Mentality" it continues to sow until it arrives at the place called "Very Prosperous"... I like that, like it a lot...
Proverbs 11:24-25 "There is one who scatters, yet increases more; And there is one who withholds more than is right, But it leads to poverty. 25 The generous soul will be made rich, And he who waters will also be watered himself." #justsaying #sowandbecomeveryprosperous
Preparing for Today's service: In Genesis 26 we read of Isaac sowing in famine and reaping 100-fold that same year! Every time I read the account it blows my mind:
Genesis 26:12-13 "Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the see more same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him. 13 The man began to prosper, and continued prospering until he became very prosperous…”
And knowing that this is The God we serve is exciting... #justsaying #GodissimplyAmazing
is thinking: Let's start a revolution: Do you understand that the Old Covenant is FINISHED!!! The Temple is GONE/DESTROYED and is NOT coming back! That we HAVE a NEW COVENANT and there is NO other Covenant to come. This is it! Jesus Christ is the Mediator of this New Covenant and IT IS ETERNAL... So we do not have to go back to the old see more system, it is forever FINISHED...
Not only that but God has made us Ministers of The New Covenant: 2 Corinthians 3:6
"[It is He] Who has qualified us [making us to be fit and worthy and sufficient] as ministers and dispensers of a new covenant [of salvation through Christ], not [ministers] of the letter (of legally written code) but of the Spirit; for the code [of the Law] kills, but the [Holy] Spirit makes alive." AMP
So stop looking to the old in an attempt to walk in THE NEW... They are two different systems; two different Covenants... One was written in stone, the other is written in our hearts... #justsaying #MinistersofTheNewCovenant
is pondering on Galatians 2:21a "I do not frustrate the grace of God..."
Understanding that the Grace of God is a divine enablement to do that which He requires or called us to do, we have to know how to use that see more grace.
For example, God has granted me the Grace to write, and as such I seek to make full use of that Grace. And it has been really flowing this year. Almost finished another book, making it my second for this year... Great Grace!!!
I encourage you out there; do not frustrate the Grace of God upon your life and do what He has commanded and ordained for your life! #justsaying #WalkingInTheGraceOfGod
is declaring that It is about time! So let your mount begin to confess what The Lord has placed in your heart. If you believe in you heart and confess with your mouth "salvation" is activated... Say, THAT IT IS SO!!!!! #justsaying #thatitisso
