#Encouragement makes for lasting memories. Be an encourager today! Here's a quote by William Arthur Ward:
"#Flatter me, and I may not believe you. #Criticize me, and I may not like you. #Ignore me, and I may not forgive you. #Encourage me, see more and I may not forget you. #Love me and I may be forced to love you."
#Change, change is the only constant in this life. Because as we continue to seek change we will continue to grow. As a matter the Scripture tells us: 2 Corinthians 3:17-18 among many others...
"Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, see more there is liberty. 18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord."
So then as a Disciple of Jesus Christ CHANGE is inevitable. And if you are not changing then maybe it is time for you to... #justsaying #changeisreal
#GodlyKnowledge Proverbs 18:15 says... ”The heart of the prudent [or wise] acquires knowledge, And the ear of the wise seeks knowledge.” see more
So the heart of the prudent or the wise individual acquires knowledge and the ear of the wise seek knowledge. The writer of the Proverbs also tell us in Proverbs 3:13-18:
"Happy is the man who finds wisdom, And the man who gains understanding; 14 For her proceeds are better than the profits of silver, And her gain than fine gold. 15 She is more precious than rubies, And all the things you may desire cannot compare with her. 16 Length of days is in her right hand, In her left hand riches and honor. 17 Her ways are ways of pleasantness, And all her paths are peace. 18 She is a tree of life to those who take hold of her, And happy are all who retain her."
In Contrast Let’s Look At The Fool: Proverbs 18:2 tells us... NIV “Fools find no pleasure in understanding but delight in airing their own opinions.”
MSG “Fools care nothing for thoughtful discourse; all they do is run off at the mouth.”
AMP “A [self-confident] fool has no delight in understanding but only in revealing his personal opinions and himself.”
• So we recognize that a fool does not find joy in understanding, but only in expressing his/her own opinion.
• We all have opinions; however, we all need to have a strong desire to gain understanding rather than just to express our opinion.
• We need to be learning to express God's opinion, not just our own when we're asking for input. I think that's an important thing. #justsaying
More On #Resources Some may say to themselves: “Well my resources are too small to make any difference”…
Though they may be small, sometimes little things can make a huge see more difference. All you need is a little key to OPEN a HUGE DOOR or GATE!!!
Remember, Jesus took 5 loaves and 2 fish and feed a multitude [5000 men besides women and children and still had leftovers…]
Remember also what Apostle James said: James 3:2-5 “For we all stumble in many things. If anyone does not stumble in word, he is a perfect man, able also to bridle the whole body. 3 Indeed, we put bits in horses’ mouths that they may obey us, and we turn their whole body. 4 Look also at ships: although they are so large and are driven by fierce winds, they are turned by a very small rudder wherever the pilot desires. 5 Even so the tongue is a little member and boasts great things.”
So in essence we can speak things into existence. We can call forth those things that are not as though they already exist… Continue to speak the word. Yes, speak exactly what the Lord has spoken to you until it comes to pass...
#Perception Perception is vital to vision, because how you perceive things will determine how you would respond…
For example, when you see/perceive a hammer as a weapon instead of a see more tool you would use it to defend yourself or to wage war. If you see/perceive it as a tool you would use it to build things.
By extension, how you perceive yourself will determine how you react to life. As a matter of fact how you perceive yourself will have a direct relation to how you interact with others… It is very vital that we have a true understanding of who we truly are…
Perception Determines Whether You See The Glass As Half Full Or Half Empty…
• Half full speaks to the idea that things are getting better and increase is coming. Your outlook on life remains very hopeful…
• Half empty says that things are getting worse and is decreasing. Your outlook on life becomes stressful and negative…
How are you seeing your life – Half Full or half empty?
Just watching something here and the question was asked - what was the first question the first woman (Eve) asked the first man (Adam)? And once again I began to think on this life and the universe in which we live. And while I totally accept the FACT that God always was, and always is, and always will be; it set me thinking that in our see more humanness, man will always have problems accepting this FACT. This can only be understood and accepted through faith... Thank God that to each and every one this measure of faith was given... #thinkingoutloud
1) The Kingdom is a Present Reality – NOW – for us today. This can be noted with many of the Parables of The Kingdom that Jesus spoke about beginning with this phrase “The Kingdom of God IS…” see more
2) The Kingdom is NOT Fleshly; that is, it is not based upon natural senses. We in this Kingdom are not moved by what we see or hear in the natural realm of circumstances – John 18:36 Jesus answered, "My kingdom does not belong to this world. If my kingdom belonged to this world, my servants would fight to keep me from being handed over to the Jews. But for now my kingdom is not from here."
3) The Kingdom does Not Come With Observation – Luke 17:20 “And being asked by the Pharisees when the kingdom of God would come, He answered and said, The kingdom of God does not come with observation.” Observation – “In such a manner that it can be watched with the eyes; in a visible manner”; to take notice or cognizance of by the intellect…
4) The Kingdom is entered by the New Birth – that is being Born Again of Water and of The Spirit (John 3:3). This experience gives us a New Nature; even His Divine Nature. Remember that you have not been baptised into a religion but into the Kingdom of God!Look at Col: 1:13; 1 Pet: 1: 18-25
5) The Kingdom Is at Hand – that is, it is Within Your Reach – Mark 1: 14-15 “And after John was delivered up, Jesus came into Galilee, proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom of God, and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God draws near. Repent, and believe the gospel.”
God is extending His Kingdom to men everywhere today – The invitation is still open!
#NewIdeas There is a dimension of #innovation that is being released for many in the Body of Christ. Even as I write this, many of you will suddenly experience 'a light' going on inside your mind. You will experience a new wave of God's #Brilliance. So get ready for a see more new season in your life. Get ready to experience God in a fresh, new way...
Seeing Beyond Your Limitations “Now Jabez was more honourable than his brothers, and his mother called his name Jabez, saying, “Because I bore him in pain.” 10 And Jabez called on the God of Israel saying, “Oh, that You would bless me indeed, and enlarge my territory, that Your hand would be with me, and see more that You would keep me from evil, that I may not cause pain!” So God granted him what he requested.” 1 Chronicles 4:9-10
One thing that I realize is that every one of us has some type of limitation to contend with. It may be your past or present, physical, emotional, social or financial. However, if you stop and think for a while you would realize that vision looks beyond personal limitations!
• Vision will help you focus on your potential instead of your weaknesses and limitations!
• Vision will help you to focus on what you do have rather on what you do not have!
When we lay hold of our God-Given #destiny and #vision we break free from the trap of comparing ourselves with others!
Look at Jabez, born in pain but knew his destiny and cried out to the destiny Giver so that his coast could have been enlarged and it was granted…
My #encouragement – go beyond your #limitations NOW!!!
My Confession! I am destined for Greatness. My end will be greater than my beginning. Growing stronger and stronger with each and every day. see more The Lord is my sword and my shield... He causes my hands to fight and my fingers to war... I am ordained for victory after victory because of Jesus' finished work... The Lord's counsel and wisdom is in my life and guides my path... No weapon formed against me shall be able to prosper... I am a son of God and I walk in His Ways... His Love surrounds my life... I walk and live in His Peace... and there is still so much more...
Don't you just love it when dimensions of the Great God just erupts inside your heart. When you just sense know that His Presence is so real and so close, that you just burst out in tongues. And you just know that you know that deep is certainly calling unto deep. It is exciting and so so very strong! I am telling you this King and Kingdom is so, so very real... #HALLELUJAH...
Been revisiting and pondering some verses in the book of Ephesians. Here they are: Ephesians 4:11-16
"And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12 for the equipping of see more the saints for the work of ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ, 13 till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ; 14 that we should no longer be children, tossed to and fro and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, in the cunning craftiness of deceitful plotting, 15 but, speaking the truth in love, may grow up in all things into Him who is the head—Christ— 16 from whom the whole body, joined and knit together by what every joint supplies, according to the effective working by which every part does its share, causes growth of the body for the edifying of itself in love."
And have been thinking: so okay this passage was written over 2000 years ago and I have heard so many Christians state this-"well I am just not perfect and never will be! As a matter there is no one that can ever be #perfect!"
This have me questioning that idea. So you mean to tell me that this text is a lie? Or that the Lord Jesus Christ has failed in His Words and instruction for over 2000 years? That as a Believer one is doomed to a life of sin and error and imperfections?
I really have to disagree with that thinking... I believe that there are #mature [perfect] Christians. #justsaying
We cannot live our entire Christian life expecting to sin and fall short. No. Not for a moment. I believe with all my heart that Jesus has done/is doing exactly what He said He would do through His five-fold Ministers and there are many who have embraced the message and have walked/are walking in that perfection [maturity]... #enoughsaid #thinkingoutloud
#Understanding #Unity - Please understand this: we are called to keep the Unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace: Ephesians 4:3-6
"endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in see more one hope of your calling; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all."
Now get this: Unity CANNOT be created; it can only be kept. All real unity intrinsically flows from the relationship between the Father and the Son, and it is essentially based upon the seven absolutes declared by the Apostle Paul in the Passage above. There is only ONE GOD!
One Body One Spirit One Hope Of Our Calling One Lord One Faith One Baptism One God And Father Of All
And as we read the Holy Scripture remember to whom this: passage and ALL other passages was written to: 2 Timothy 3:16-17
"All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: 17 That the man of God may be perfect, thoroughly furnished unto all good works."
I have been pondering on the way we do things and why… for example do you know that "our order of service was started around 1521." We have a worship service, receive the tithes and offering see more and then preach the Word…
I know, most would say: if it ain't broke don't break it – But honestly whether it's broke or not is a good question to pose.
In many circles and instances what we see happening is this – Civilization keeps advancing while the church remains antiquated…
Good thing the rest of the civilization didn't stop advancing. Could you imagine what would have happened if civilization had rejected The Printing Press or Cell Phone Technology? Saying that they never did it that way before and as such weren’t going to change!
Or if they could not accept the aircraft or automobile industry, because they just never did it that way before!
Or even the advance in medical science, and the list can go on and on…
Well this is exactly what goes on in many churches and ministries… we get stuck in these ruts and cannot #INNOVATE, because we are so used doing it a particular way…
Well I am dedicated to changing that!!! #ChangeMatters #ThereIsAnotherWay #LetUsSeekUntilWeFind #JustSaying
#NewMindsets New mindsets can be created at any stage of our lives to guide, instruct, shape and organize behaviour and action in our every day life. When Jesus chose twelve disciples and designated them Apostles, He focused on deliberately and consciously developing new mindsets - see more what I call Apostolic Mindsets - for the particular purpose of changing the world.
Jesus gives us the key to changing old mindsets into new ones. He commanded in Mark 1:15
“The Kingdom of God is at hand, repent and believe the gospel”
The word repent means “to change one's view and adopt another view.” The change is derived from a recognition that the earlier view was either one or all of the following: foolish, improper or evil, and hence, there arises the sense “to regret”, “to feel remorse”. The “regret” and “remorse” expresses dissatisfaction with thoughts cherished, plans followed, acts performed, behaviour demonstrated. The change of mind will influence and shape thoughts, feelings, actions and behaviour.
So then my encouragement is that we allow the Lord to continue His work of "changing" us. Submit to His process and continue to grow! #ChangeMatters #NewMindsetsAreAvailable #Donotbestuck
#Family I am such a strong believer in the family. God has indeed created the man and the woman who were then given the right, the honour and the means to procreate. Hence we ended up with the family - man, woman and children... Without that mix, life as we know it would have to be much different... # HonourTheFamily #ManWomanChild #JustSaying
