It took me years to understand that God wasn't mad at me, and that I am righteous not because of any good work that I did, but because of what Jesus has done, His finished work on the cross. Now I am Saved by His Grace Humble by His Goodness and Surrounded by His Glory. I am the righteousness of God through Jesus Christ.

Praise God! The worst of the cyclone that battered Samoa is finally over and it is not expected to hit the island nation again. The cyclone caused serious damage, and claimed 4 lives but Praise God for His giudance and protection that spare many lives. Heard from my family and they all fine. Jesus said "If your first concern is to look after yourself, you'll never find yourself. But if you forget about yourself and look to me, you'll find both yourself and me" It's not about you. Life is about God. God is the Creator of all, and all of creation including me and you, exists to bring Him glory. So we start with God not us.

Mike Fuller Hi again Tasi: I'm also taking a look at fighting the flesh and living a holy life pleasing in God's eyes. I look at Gal. 2:20 "Not I but Christ that lives in me". Perhaps it''s my definition of the fighting the flesh. Is it referring to my old evil nature, or is it referring to not returning to trying to earn God's favor in my flesh by good works? I know it is a tactic of the enemy to get us to turn our eyes back onto ourselves about doing and giving. Am I pleasing to God? There seems to
