Have you ever stepped out to pursue a dream in your heart and then became overwhelmed by it, wondering if you were equipped or qualified to pull it off? Most everyone has been there. In fact, many of the great men and women of the Bible struggled with the same issue. People fill their hands with lots of good things; they take on noteworthy
see more obligations and fill their arms with impressive accomplishments. But "good" can be the enemy of "best." That's why we have to constantly evaluate what's in our hands and be willing to let go of some things so we can take hold of what God has for us. I was just thinking this morning am I holding on to something that know I need to let go of in order to make room for what God is trying to do in my life? Are my thoughts consumed with a situation from my past? I might even be holding on to something good, but good things can also keep my hands too full to embrace God's very best. I encourage you to take some time and evaluate what you have in your hands. Be willing to let go of anything that is keeping you from God's best. Make room for what He has for you, knowing that He is ready to bless you and equip you to fulfill the destiny He has placed in your heart.
The LORD said to [Moses], 'What is that in your hand?'" (Exodus 4:2, NIV).

When discouraged, choose hope; when criticized, choose humility; when hurt, choose forgiveness; and when dreams are dashed, dream again

By faith I step out into the darkness not knowing where the path is but knowing that if God set me on this path I will be ok-Trusting God is easy relaxing into his warm embrace a delight-I lift praises to only him

I want to Praise the Lord today for giving me another chance to Glorify his Name--My daughter who is so very ill (I was told by the Dr she would be dead by Christmas) is still alive She is very thin (only 35 lbs) but she is still alive --the Dr said today that she is stabilized --I praise the Lord for his work in progress --amen! be a blessing today Rg

Sometimes you have to encourage yourself.

If you go out hiking in the wilderness, do you know what they say to do if you get lost? Simply stop. Have a snack. Take a few minutes to catch your breath so that you don't allow panic to set in. That's what we have to do in our spiritual journey, too. That's why scripture says to be still and know that He is God.

Today, if there are some areas in which you don't feel complete, if there are some missing pieces or you feel lost, I want to encourage you to open your heart and mind to what God can do in your life. If you feel like you don't have any options, there's always the God option. Align yourself with Him in your mind, will and emotions. Be still and meditate on His goodness because He's working behind the scenes on your behalf to seek and restore everything that was lost!

Not only that, He will protect you and deliver you. God has a divine plan for your life. Like Peter, however, Jesus needs you to step out of the boat so that you may progress toward your greater purpose. The boat symbolizes your comfort zone. It is the place you return to when it appears God isn’t doing things when and how you planned. Resist the urge to be stuck. Get out of the boat!

Psalm 91:14 "because he has loved Me, therefore I will deliver him..." Time to refocus-more looking to God and less fretting over the situation
